Lacrosse – W

The UCSD Women’s Lacrosse team is a competitive Division II team that plays against other sports club teams. The Tritons are in the Southern Conference, which also includes Northern Arizona University, CSU San Marcos, UC Irvine and CSU Long Beach. UCSD is also a member of the WWLL and WDIA.

Joining the team requires no prior experience of lacrosse and many girls have picked up the sport at UCSD and excelled tremendously. The team strives for commitment, dedication and fun throughout the season. Fall ball starts in the beginning of the fall quarter and runs until the end of the quarter. Regular season kicks off in January and runs until the start of spring quarter with playoffs in mid-April.

UCSD also participates in community service throughout the season. In the past the Tritons have done local beach cleanups, held lacrosse clinics for local junior high and high school girls and worked at fundraisers for Alzheimer’s and Epilepsy research.
