After only two weeks of having our official team selected, the Tritons are back on Muir field for their first scrimmage of the season against University of San Diego. While the Toreros came out strong with fast breaks toward the goal, the Triton defense was able to slow their progression, allowing the Triton attack to score a few on the Toreros. Even with a back and forth effort of goals, the Tritons were unable to find victory against USD. However, this was a great first game for the Tritons and an opportunity to figure out their new chemistry as a complete team. We look forward to playing USD again in the spring and showing what the Tritons are all about.
