4/20/24 - NCVF National Championships
Nationals is always the highlight of the season as it gives our teams a chance to see their hard work from the entire season come into fruition. This year was no exception as both our teams played countless hard fought matches and pulled off some incredible wins. 2/3/24 - SCCVL League Crossovers
Your favorite Tritons were back in Seal Beach this weekend battling it out in league crossovers. The blue team fought hard competing with UCLA (2 sets), UVU (3 sets), and USC (3 sets) but coming up short however they took down GCU, CSULB, and ASU with impeccable skill. Read More>>
1/20/24 - MLK Invite
This weekend was one filled with lots of volleyball and even more rain. The A team rounded off the weekend on six wins and two competitive losses both going to three sets. Day 1, the swept their first pool; then went 1-1 in their next pool. The day took an interesting turn going into the second round of pool play when it began to downpour to such an extreme that the ceiling began to leak over all the courts in the gym causing people to slip and slide across the court. Team Gold and Team Blue headed towards Corona, CA to participate in SCCVL MLK Invite! They played against so many great games against teams that were as local as SDSU and as far as Utah Valley University. Read More>
11/13/22 - FALL CLASSIC '22
We are BACK and are starting off the season strong! Both teams drove up to Irvine to participate in the SCCVL Fall Classic, where they played their best and had great outcomes. Read More>

SCCVL Collegiate Beach Championships
UCSD Women’s Beach Volleyball rolled into the CBVT League Championships in Huntington on November 24th ready to prove once and for all their dominance in the sand for the last tournament of the fall season. Read More>
The Battle for San Diego
The Triton's invited SDSU to Main Gym for a friendly scrimmage to prepare for the season, little did the Aztecs know that our lady Tritons assembled two kick butt teams this season. Read More>
Tritons Dominated Huntington Beach Tournament
After spending week three dominating midterms, the UCSD Women’s Beach Volleyball team spent their Sunday dominating the sand in Huntington Beach with 2 collective brain cells. Read More >
Ballin’ At The Beach
Our collegiate beach tour brought us to the majestic lands of Del Mar Dog Beach where balls were volleyed, skin was burned, and most importantly, dogs were pet. A whopping 6 teams represented UCSD in the 2nd tournament of our beach season: Val/Bella, Sylvia/Ryley, Shaylee/Bryn, Sam/Vanessa, Diana/Becca, and Lexi/Paige. Read More>
Going For Gold: The Bronze Edition
The ladies of UC Slam Diego flew into Denver hot and dangerous, ready to take the 2018-2019 Collegiate Nationals Tournament by storm. However, they were ranked a whopping 40th out of 48 upon entering the tournament. Read More>
League Championships Blue Edition
After stellar league play, the UCSD Tritons qualified for the league championship tournament which is only open to the top 6 teams in the division. Finishing second in league play, the Tritons were given the 1 seed in their pool. Read More>
League Championships Gold Edition
The League Championship tournament for the women’s Gold team marked a bittersweet ending as they competed in their last tournament of the year. Read More>
West Region Challenge
They don't call it a challenge for nothing. The tournament started out a little bit rough in a series of unfortunate events starting on the first day. Perhaps it was the brain - or lack thereof - after finals, but UCSD was unable to pull off wins against beatable UCLA and CU Boulder teams. Read More>
The Greatest Cross-town Battle
Some argue that UCLA vs USC or UNC vs Duke are the greatest cross-town rivalries in college sports. I'm here to talk about the TRUE greatest cross-town battle in the United States: the battle for dominance in San Diego. Read More>
South vs. Central Crossover
This weekend, your Lady Tritons brought out the brooms and swept all the opposition. Despite some facility administrative issues that prevented the matches from starting on time, everything rolled away excellently. Read More>
South Regional 2
UCSD gold team traveled all the way to LA to play in the Claremont Tournament at Pomona College. The gold team went up against ASU- B and Claremont in three matches, clenching the win against both teams. Read More>

This past weekend was filled with shock and spunk from the Lady Tritons on the Gold Team as they took on their first league tournament of the year. Read More>

The Lady Tritons of the Gold team took a winding, beautiful road trip up to Santa Barbara on a sunny weekend to play volleyball where the beach and mountains meet. Read More>
Bruin Classic National Ranking Tournament
The story of this competition begins the Thursday before the competition began...The schedule for the weekend had been released and your UCSD tritons were ranked 15th. Way below what they were expecting considering their strong showing so far this year. Read More>
North vs South Crossover
The UCSD Tritons SENT IT all the way up to UC Santa Barbara (with a pit stop at the Jesse McCartney concert on Friday night of course). Saturday morning, the day was spent getting psyched to rip and dig some volleyballs into the less beautiful, white-ish sands of SB. Read More>
Aztec Invitational
This past weekend at the Aztec Invitational at the SDSU, the UCSD women’s club volleyball had a chance to play some tough competition against an incredibly diverse set of teams comprising of CSUN as well as SDSU-A, SDSU-B, and let’s not forget SDSU-Alumni. Read More>
SCCVL Preseason Tournament
The SCCVL Preseason tournament had many firsts for the UCSD women's club volleyball teams. It was the debut of our second team, who with some supremely scrappy play defeated NAU and Arizona State to secure their first wins of what is going to be a great season. Read More>
Breaking the Ice
The UCSD Women's Blue and Gold team headed to Del Mar, CA for the first tournament of the season. The facility was freezing, but the Tritons consistently brought the heat over the course of the two day tournament. Read more>
