This weekend was a tough weekend for our Gold team. After driving up to UCLA, UCSD women’s volleyball Team Gold played against the Central teams of the SCCVL league. The Tritons worked hard and exhausted themselves, bringing every team to three sets. They would eventually come just short of two points for each game they played, other than the match against ASU. This tournament brought insight into what the Gold team will have to work on during practice, in addition to giving them the motivation to improve performance before their rematch games against the Central teams in the next tournament. Another weekend of great volleyball for Tritons! Our Blue team traveled up to UCLA once again in order to participate in the South VS Central crossover held by SCCVL. The Tritons played against GCU, ASU, and U of A, and came out as number 1 in their pool. Battling against a pool full of teams from Arizona, UCSD pulled a full AZ sweep with the theme of the day being #BeTheEdge.
