If you thought that there was no badminton in college, you heard wrong! The UCSD Badminton Team is one of the most popular sports on campus, with a record membership of 50+ students. In fact, we have our own league, our Yonex badminton team uniforms, a coach and more! We play in the Southern California Collegiate Badminton League, which includes UCLA, UCI, UCR, USC, Cal Poly SLO, Cal Tech, and CSULA. We are definitely excited for the new year and welcome all of you to be a part of it. We practice twice a week, every week in Main Gym: Wednesdays from 8-11pm and Sundays from 7-11pm. In addition, we have open gyms on Fridays from 6-11pm and Saturdays from 6-10pm. Come check out this friendly environment if you've had previous experience, or have none at all. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our UCSD Badminton Team Captains. So if you are ready for the challenge and ready to have some fun, come join us!
