UCSD Recreation is proud to partner with Point Loma Nazarene University Masters of Kinesiology Integrative Wellness program to bring Health Coaching to UCSD undergrad and graduate students.
A Health Coach is a trained professional who works with clients in a 1-1 virtual meeting. Health coaches partner with clients seeking to enhance their well-being through self-directed, lasting changes that align with their values. Health coaches treat each client with unconditional positive regard and believe in their capacity for change. They honor the fact that the client is an expert on their own life, while ensuring that all interactions are respectful and non-judgmental. Health Coaches do not act as personal trainers, psychologists, or dietitians, and do not prescribe health programs. The coach works with the client to discover their best way to better health.
Health Coach services are available to undergrad and graduate students only for a total of 6 sessions. Not sure if Health Coaching is right for you? Consider taking our Self-Discovery Guide. Click the link below to schedule your appointment.
Program starts May 6, 2024!
