UC San Diego played against Cal State San Marcos for their senior night. The Tritons started off strong, winning the draw and bringing it down to attack. Our senior Delainey Iles was a powerhouse on the draw winning over 6 draw controls and safely bringing it down to the attacking end. On the defensive end, our seniors Abby Schnapper and Audrey Do played hard, having some integral stops and not letting the cougars score. On the attacking end, Ellen Jurgens played smart, making good decisions and leading up to long successful sets on offense that ended in a goal. Mid-game Sophia Terenik faced off on the draw having over 4 successful draw controls. In the end, the Cougars were able to pull out the win with a final game score of 11-10. Post-game the team celebrated their seniors with their parents, fans, friends and team.
