First game of the Fall 22 season and your Tritons got the win! Although we were on the road against USC, Tritons scored in the first quarter with an assist by captain Marissa Garcia to freshman Emily Landers for a reverse sweep goal. In the second quarter, USC got an interception and a quick counter attack goal, ending the first half tied 1-1. Tritons came back strong in the second half, scoring two goals with Tritons like third year, Jennifer Chen, scoring her first goal (this was her first week playing field hockey ever!) from two assists from Emily. Emily, in her first game for UCSD, was our game MVP, showing her skill and teamwork through her two assists and goal! Final score ended 3-1, Triton win!!
