Sat 3/11 “Let’s Go” – Jake “Pahps” Cuffe.  The UC San Diego Tritons came ready to decide who the better UC was.  The Anteaters were coming off a big win against CSU Long Beach, who had beaten the Tritons earlier in the season.  UCSD wasn’t fazed.  They knew what to do and were ready to execute.

The success started from the face-off X.  Taylor “The Surgeon” Gulrajani won 11 of 17 face-offs, giving the Tritons a huge advantage from the start.  In a way that would make Steph Curry proud, it was a game of 3’s.  Vito “DiGiorno” DiGiorgio scored 3 goals, Jake “Mr. Lefty” Cuffe scored 3 goals, and Joe “The Rev” Sawires had 3 assists (he also had 2 goals).

The defense did their part as well.  Alec “He Swung First” Karousatos had 4 ground balls.  The goalie duo of Cameron “HypeMan” Kenneth and Tyler “Mr. Responsible” Lestak allowed only 5 goals total.

With their first divisional win, the Tritons looked strong and prepared for whomever they faced next.
