4/12/25 - DCo Sectionals 2025

Hello Dragon Coalition Fans!

This past weekend, D-Co brought the fire to Sectionals and walked away with a proud 3rd place finish! With intense matchups, a strong team mentality, and plenty of exciting moments, we showed just how much we've grown this season.

Saturday was a big day for D-Co, and we came out swinging. We kicked off the tournament with a commanding 14-5 win over UC Irvine Grass Ninjas, using strong defensive pressure and clean offense to set the tone. That momentum carried into our next game against SDSU Garden Gnomes, where we dominated with a 15-3 victory, showcasing crisp movement and relentless energy. Our final game of the day was a showdown with UCLA Blu, a tough opponent we knew would bring intensity. We met the challenge head-on, staying composed and strategic to earn a solid 12-6 win and finish the day undefeated.

On Sunday, we opened with a high-stakes semifinal match against Cal Poly SLO Motion. It was a thrilling back-and-forth game filled with huge plays and heart from both sides. We kept things tight the whole way, but SLO ultimately edged us out 11-12 in a heartbreaking finish. Refusing to dwell, we turned our focus to a rematch with UCLA Blu. With renewed determination, we tightened up our game and came away with a confident 14-9 victory. Our final test of the weekend came against USC Hellions in the third-place match. Both teams were fighting hard, but D-Co’s resilience and teamwork shone through as we closed out the weekend with a gritty 14-11 win. We’re incredibly proud of our performance and excited to carry this momentum into Regionals. As always, thank you to our amazing fans for your unwavering support—let’s go D-Co!
