UCSD Men’s Ultimate B-team took 26 players to Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2024 Sinvite tournament the weekend of March 30th-31st. The wind was rough at about an average of 21 miles per hour, and the competition was fierce, being various A-teams and a few other B-teams. The first game on day 1 was against Grand Canyon University resulting in a 7-3 loss. The second game was against USC-B, which ended up being a 10-10 tie. The third game was against San Jose State University, which resulted in a 10-1 loss. The fourth game was against California State University Long Beach, which resulted in a 14-5 loss. The second day, the team played in the consolation bracket. The first game against UCSB-B resulted in a 15-5 loss, and the second game against Claremont resulted in a 15-1 loss. Over the tournament we recognized mistakes that were being made on the playing field and aim to correct them before our upcoming regional tournament.
