This tournament was an awesome gathering of all the San Diego teams in the league! It was even sweeter hosting in our own gym! We had spikes for days, digs that resembled dimes more than actual dimes, and sets like butter. We ended up losing to SDSU, but it they were very intense sets. Our incredible middle, Alayah Crump had, by far, the greatest hit in the entire tournament when she gave a not so nice facial to their setter. Our second game against USD was a win! We played with intensity, ferocity, and intent to win. We were hungry for a win after our hard loss against SDSU. Overall, it was a very fun day and we are very excited to go to League Champs in two weeks!
