The Tritons had a strong showing in their final match against the SCCBL schools. Though UCSD had already qualified for nationals, there was some excellent games that were played. Junior Nicole Li won a decisive women's singles match against CSU Long Beach's Yuna Yang, with a final score of 21-10, 21-13. Mixed doubles pair Jason Yang and Ana Zhou won 21-16 and 21-18 against a pair from UCI. In another excellent match, Shuto Nishida won a tough singles game against Kenny Luu from UCI, with final score 17-21, 21-12, and 21-15.
