2/16-2/18/24 - ASU Sun Devil Spring Invitational
This past weekend, Club Swim sent 22 swimmers out to Tempe for the Sun Devil Spring Invitational, and finished 3rd overall among 7 teams, only behind GCU and ASU. Many swimmers ended up achieving their Nationals cuts, and new team records were set, which was a true testament to the hard work put in all season by these swimmers!

Tony Zheng - Men's 100 IM, finishing 1st with a time of 53.69.
Itay Ben Yoseph - Men's 200 Butterfly, finishing 2nd with a time of 1:55.81.
Maia Colobong - Women's 200 Breaststroke, finishing 2nd with a time of 2:36.92
Here were some highlights of the team's performance at ASU:
Men's 200 Medley Relay Team A placed 2nd, marginally finishing behind GCU.
Tony Zheng - Men's 200 IM: 1st place
Erin Swift swept the Women's 100 and 200 Backstroke
Mei Fukushima and Matthew Swida finished 1st and 2nd in the 100 Backstroke
Men's 400 Medley Relay Team A placed 2nd, finishing 0.06 seconds behind GCU.
Dylan Oquendo - Men's 100 Breaststroke: 1st place
Itay Ben Yoseph - Men's 50 Backstroke: 1st place
Katherine Wu - Women's 50 Free: 1st place
Men's 400 Yard Freestyle Relay Team A placed 2nd, finishing just behind ASU, and edging GCU by 0.43 seconds.
Overall, an amazing performance by the team! Congrats on the hard work put so far this season! Next stop, Nationals at Indianapolis!
