In another close game, UCSD lost to USC by one wicket. UCSD batted first, but no batters were able to achieve much success. The top performer was Abhishek Santhanam (47 off 29). With the ball, UCSD were once again very good with lots of bowlers bowling extremely well. Top performers included Kanishk Hari (4-0-23-4 wickets) and Aagney Gorthi (4-1-11-1). Although it was disappointing to lose, lots of lessons were taken from the game. The tough competition in this game definitely has brought this new team to bond with each other.
