The Tritons traveled up to Cal State Fullerton where they would play a close but hard fought game. The first period started very slow with not much offense coming from the Tritons. They would pick up steam in the second period with two goals from freshman Sean Miller and sophomore Logan Defrietas to go on top 2-0. Two great shots from Fullerton tied the score at 2-2, but the Tritons kept on battling and scored again in the third period courtesy of freshman Luca Tartaglia. Keeping a lockdown defense, the Tritons held onto the 1 goal lead to win 3-2. Goalie Michael Haskins had a notable performance earning 27 saves in 29 shots. Their defensive prowess led the Tritons to victory.
