Knock Around Camps are only available for purchase to families that are included in the 2026 pre-registration lottery. Dates to be added later.

HOW TO REGISTER

Our online registration system shows, in real time, which camps have space and will allow parents to add their families to the wait lists of full programs. Each priority group will register in a group based on their family’s past attendance and/or lottery number. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis within each registration day. If you are entered into the lottery you will be contacted directly with your registration day.

RETURNING CAMP FAMILIES

• If your camper(s) attended camp in Summer 2025, they have already been automatically entered into the 2026 pre-registration lottery. 
• If you have another dependent that will be attending camp in Summer 2026 for the first time, please add them to your Rec profile and email us their member ID number by February 6th.
• If your camper(s) attended camp in 2024 or earlier, but did not attend camp in Summer 2025, please email us their member ID number by February 6th.

NEW CAMP FAMILIES

UCSD Affiliates

• If you are a current UCSD affiliate, you already have a Recreation profile. Please log in to your UCSD Recreation account using your Single Sign On/Active Directory credentials to confirm your campers are added as dependents to your profile.
• Once logged in, navigate to your profile at the top right of the page, then click “add family member” towards the bottom of your profile to add your dependent(s). The member ID can be viewed by clicking the drop down “viewing as” menu and clicking on the dependent. Their member ID will be displayed below their name, beginning with the letter “M”.
• If your family is considered UCSD affiliated but a non-affiliated partner will be registering your child(ren), please ensure their name is listed under the family members section to guarantee you receive affiliate pricing.

*IMPORTANT: Please email us your child(ren)’s Member ID(s). We must have this information by February 6th if you want to be included on our email list and in this year’s priority camp registration.

Non-UCSD Affiliates (Community Members)

• If you are a non-affiliate, you are not eligible to be entered into the pre-registration lottery. However, you will be able to register for any remaining spots when community registration opens (date TBD).
• To set up your UCSD Recreation account, click the following, Single Sign On/Active Directory, then “Sign Up” at the bottom of the pop-up. Once logged in, navigate to your profile at the top right of the page, then click “Add Family Member” towards the bottom of your profile to add your dependent(s).

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

Our refund/ transfer policy has been updated to align with pricing of individual camps instead of a flat fee

• Refund requests made 6 weeks or more prior to the start of the session being dropped will receive 90% of their registration fees back.
• Requests made between 4 and 6 weeks prior will receive a 75% refund.
•  Requests made between 2 and 4 weeks prior will receive a 50% refund.

*Refunds will not be offered for requests made less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the session. 

• Transfers will incur a $40 fee per camp transfer, per session, per camper.

How do I create a UCSD Recreation account/find my child(ren)’s member ID?

• UCSD Affiliates already have a Recreation profile. Please log in using your Single Sign On/Active Directory credentials.
