Dance Team Notice of Suspension
UPDATED NOTICE - 8/28/24

The Dance Team is suspended for the 2024-2025 academic year. This suspension will be reviewed in Spring 2025.
This decision is based on the Sports Club Incident Report and the on-going SAGE investigation for alleged violations of hazing.
This suspension includes all practices, performances, event/spirit appearances, competitions, Athletic Performance, Athletic Training services, off campus events, study halls, etc. Dance Team is not eligible to participate under other student organizations and sports clubs. A Cease and Desist notice was shared on June 17,2024 and a second Cease and Desist notice, has been shared. 2/8-2/11/24 - USA Collegiate Dance Championships
This event was our second dance nationals competition of the year held in Anaheim. We commuted in private cars the morning of the competition on Saturday, and arrived to the hotel to unpack, get settled, and get ready in the hotel rooms. Read More>>

UDA Nationals was a great experience for the team to continue to have while representing the school, especially as a D1 athlete. Read More>>
1/15/23 - Universal Dance Association Nationals
The weekend of January 14-15, 2023 the UCSD Dance Team had their Division 1 debut as they competed in the Universal Dance Association (UDA) Nationals at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The Dance Team National Championship is renowned as the most prestigious college championship in the country. Read More>>
2/27/22 - USA Dance Nationals
The UCSD Dance Team traveled to Anaheim, California this past weekend to compete in USA Dance Nationals at the Anaheim Convention Center. In the two weeks leading up to the weekend, the team put in over 22 hours of practice time to prepare. Read More>>
