It was the first home conference game of the season and our Tritons came out aggressive early with right-wing, Paige Fleisler, scoring on a great assist from teammate, Sam Kalt, in the circle for a first-quarter goal. From there, UCSD had many shots on goal and penalty corners throughout the game, but finally converted on these opportunities with a beautiful corner play by two of our captains, Simran Jandu assisting Marissa Garcia. UCSD dominated possession and had a great practice on the offensive, and are looking forward to scoring more goals in our game next week against rival UCSB. The final score was 2-0 UCSD win!
