On April the 5^th, the UC San Diego Men’s Lacrosse team upset the #15 team in the nation, the University of San Diego, by a score of 11 to 4. This marks the Tritons second top 25 upset of the year and brings them to 6-1 on the season, looking to close out the season with two more divisional wins against UC Irvine and CSU San Marcos. This also makes UC San Diego the men’s lacrosse champions of San Diego having beaten SDSU in the Fall. The win against USD was hardly an upset to the Triton coaching staff due to the raw talent and structure of this program. Notable players include the entire defense, lead by Sophomore d-pole Matteo Liebman and our Senior goalies Tyler Lestak and Cameron Bowlby.
