Saturday morning, UCSD A and B team head to UCI for a scrimmage against UCI and UCLA.

UCSD A team started the day off with a win over the UCLA A team, Joshua Tesoro and Ronin Suzuki played a tight match but successfully pulled through with fast hands and reaction to beat the UCLA A team doubles. Alyson Hirota and Serena Ko had the first time playing since the Arizona Invitational and with a bit of rust, they just fell short of a win. Mehran Arabshahi, coming to the match fashionably late still managed to sauce up his opponent with no proper warm-up, the captain was so surprised that he griddied off the court.  Sisi Leong started the day off with a win, powerful groundstrokes from both her forehand and backhand, and easily defeated her opponent. Finally, Rachel Sherrill and Abhishek Nisha Anish struggled at first but later pulled through with good communication and teamwork. Their win helped secure the win against the UCLA-A team.

UCSD B team ended the day by playing against the UCI B team.
