The Men’s Club Soccer team hosted their alumni this weekend for a friendly match of three 30-minute thirds against the current players. Although a lighthearted event, both teams still played to win. The score was 2-2 through the first two-thirds, but the alumni pulled away in the final third, scoring a goal as well as a PK. Final score, 4-2 alumni.

After the game, players and friends mingled as lunch was catered from the taco stand. Tacos were served with sides of rice, beans, and chips. Gatorade, water, tea, horchata, and other drinks were provided as well. Along with lunch, players who decided they hadn’t played enough soccer enjoyed themselves on the teqball table. To cap off the successful event, Men’s Club Soccer gear was given out to the alumni, including polos, pullovers, shirts, and masks.
