Following last year's successful alumni event, the team decided to bring it back for a second consecutive time. Although the active players may have been more fit, the wisdom of the alumni proved too powerful for the current players. 10 minutes into the game, fullback Koosha Jadbabaei assisted forward Kalani Takamura for an early lead for the actives. The alumni would fight back, and the two teams would exchange blows until the score settled at 3-3. However, in one final push the alumni were able to slip a game winning goal past the actives' defense for their second win in two alumni games. 

After the game, make-your-own tacos from Taco Stand, pizza, and beverages were catered to the field. The active players, alumni, family, and friends all mingled and enjoyed each other's company after a hard fought game.
