On the weekend of February 24 and 25, the UCSD Equestrian Team competed in the last regular show of the 2017-2018 season. On Saturday, Aleena Karamally placed 1st in Open Fences and 4th in Open Flat. Maggie Mastrolorenzo placed 5th in Novice Fences and 5th in Novice Flat, and Danielle Sprouse placed 4th in Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter. On Sunday, Karamally received a 6th place in Open Flat, and Mastrolorenzo received a 6th place in both Novice Fences and Novice Flat. Sprouse received a 5th place in Advanced Walk-Trot-Canter. It was a great show and a great way to end the season, and we’re looking forward to cheering on Aleena Karamally as she heads to regionals on March 3rd!
