UCSD Drop Another One Against UCI With The Help Of Despicable Officiating

The game started out pretty evenly, with both sides having even possession of the puck. Towards the end of the first, UCI was able to put in two quick goals.  In the second, UCSD made a comeback scoring two goals, but UCI put another one in maintaining a lead. The referees stole the show in the third period, blowing calls left and right until the game completely fell apart. Their incompetence resulted in so much built up aggression that a fight broke out. The referees succeeded in their mission to destroy UCSD’s chances at winning, although they were not subtle at all with their favoritism. Lewis, one of the refs, saw a UCSD player get punched in the face, but merely laughed and said "I'm not going to call that". This game proved that when the refs fail to create a fair and safe environment for both teams, the game turns into a chaotic mess and nobody benefits.

Final Score: UCI wins 9-5
