During the weekend, UC Irvine conceited a forfeit to the Tritons giving them a win in the league standings. The Tritons weren’t going to leave a weekend without playing so they were organized in a skirmish against CSU Long Beach and Mira Costa. The games only lasted a half hour each but everyone got some good play time so they’ll be ready for the next league game. The game against Long Beach had the Tritons on their back foot for most of the game and they weren’t able to recover but the game against Mira Costa was more of a game where both sides had many back and forths where Mira Costa put down the first score but missed the conversion. The Tritons were able to bring it back in the last play with George McMahon putting the ball down for the Tritons to score and Atang Bingana was able to put in the conversion for the Tritons to win against Mira Costa. The next weekend against Cal Lutheran will be the biggest game of the season and the Tritons will need to be ready for it.
