The team had a great game against the UC San Diego Alumni. The alumni fought hard, putting in 8 goals against the current team. The game was filled with laughs and exciting moments of the alumni getting back into the sport they love. 

Post-game the teams gathered together and the alumni shared some advice about school, work, and life. A common point was to live in the moment and really enjoy the time that you are spending playing on the lacrosse team. After, the teams shared sandwiches and talked with the alumni, getting updated on what they were up to now. 

The team had a special guest join this year, Dana Crompton who was one of the founding members of the Women's lacrosse team. She talked about how she and a couple of other girls started out playing with the men's team and then decided that they should form their own. She shared how happy she was to see that the team was still providing a welcoming and caring community. The team is looking forward to seeing the alumni throughout the year coming out to support our games!
