UC San Diego vs UC XI
UC XI, a team consisting of both UC Irvine and UC Los Angeles players, won the toss and elected to bat first on Muir Field. Even though UCSD got consistent wickets from the beginning, UCLA opener managed to play the long innings and score a half century. With several small cameos, UC XI reached a decent total of 141/7 for their 25 overs. In the second innings, UCSD started well, scoring 41 runs of the powerplay for a loss of only 2 wickets. However, UCSD's batting crumbled after the powerplay, as they were bowled out for 61 within 12 overs. This was a difficult loss right before Nationals, but it prepared UCSD to play tougher opponents.
