UC San Diego vs MK Cricket
The forecast predicted light rain in patches, so the game was on! UC San Diego won the toss and elected to bat first on Muir Field. Opener Ishan Banerjee gave UCSD a strong start, scoring yet another 50, his first of this quarter. Despite the rainy conditions, the MK Cricket bowlers bowled out their 20 overs and allowed UCSD to a target of 165 for the loss of 7 wickets. After a short break, UCSD took to the field. MK Cricket started strong, but as the rain became heavier, the two teams decided to call off the game after 4 overs and 3 balls. The game was great for the first practice game of the quarter minus the rain, with good performances from UCSD players as they prepare for Nationals.
