With Cal Poly coming out strong the Tritons had to readjust and regroup to come back. The Triton defense was able to hold the Mustangs for long defensive sets with Kiara Young in goal making amazing saves. The offense was able to even up the game by half time. 

After the half, the midfielders were able to control the draw and bring it down on offense. The offense worked some new plays on the Mustang defense and was successful. Destiny Lewis was able to connect with Delainey Iles in the center which put in a much-needed goal. The Tritons gave it their all until the last whistle but the Mustangs came out on top.
