UC San Diego vs. Arizona State University and University of Arizona

    UCSD vs ASU

What a game! The weather was not on our side this weekend with the pouring rain and chilling wind. The Lady Tritons didn't let this get to them when faced up against the defending D1 regional champions, ASU. Starting out strong on the draw, Delainey Iles, Kayla Tracy, and Karli Adams started the game with 3 draw controls off the bat. ASU was able to hold off the Tritons on Attack and cause turnovers which got them ahead 2 at the half.

After half the Tritons were ready to come back to pull ahead of the Devils and Delainey scored making it a one-goal game. The possessions went back and forth with UCSD's Defense holding strong and getting multiple turnovers. However, the Devils were riding hard on the transitions and got the ball back. ASU put in one last goal and was able to hold the ball until the end of the game.

    UCSD-ASU: 7-9

    UCSD vs UofA

With a quick break between the ASU and the UoA game, the Tritons were refueled and ready to play. With the rain still pouring down, UCSD came out strong against UoA, holding long 5-minute defensive sets and putting in goals on attack. Destiny Lewis in the midfield came up with 3 draw controls in the first half, which benefited the attackers majorly.

After the first half, the Tritons were ahead by 4 and were ready to increase that lead. Ellen Jurgens was a key player in the midfield and attack, having 3 draw controls and 2 assists she set up the Tritons for success in the second half. UCSD pulled ahead by 12 with the Triton's freshman Nikki Shin getting her first hat trick.

    UCSD-UofA: 18-6
