It was a muggy weekend, on October 22nd, going into the second game against Claremont McKenna College as the Tritons defeated the Serpents with a 14-0 shutout on Saturday, October 22. With no goalie in cage and just a kicker-back to substitute, the Tritons played a powerful offensive attack, scoring 7 goals in the first half.  Samantha Brinton, center forward, scored a whopping 4 goals alongside with Abby Sumi and Alberto Montilla with 3 goals each.

The following Sunday, October 23rd, the Tritons played an intense game against the USC Trojans and held possession for majority of the game. Multiple shots were hit across the cage hoping for a tip into goal but were just barely out of reach by UC San Diego forwards. Short corners—penalty plays against the opposing goalie and its defenders—were earned in the second half of the game against the Trojans with Arshdeep Singh and Madison Ghiz up top to put the ball in the cage. However, the game ended with another 0-0 tie and left the Tritons still yet to be scored on.
