This weekend, the Psychos took on some of the best teams in the nations while freezing in some of the worst conditions they’ve experienced in their lives. 40 degree weather, pouring rain and a relentless wind made for frozen hands and shivering bodies. On Saturday, the Psychos faced Colorado, Virginia, and Vermont. Although they came up short in all three games, they played with intensity, bidding in the mud. Their fourth game was cancelled due to various injuries and sickness that affected the team, reducing their regular roster by 6 people. Sunday, the Psychos faced Georgia Tech and Washington. They beat Georgia 15-2 and Washington 12-11. Although they didn’t do as well as they had hoped overall, the Psychos gained invaluable experience that they will bring to Sectionals and Regionals as they fight for a bid to Nationals.
