The UC San Diego Men’s Lacrosse team fell tragically to the UC Davis Aggies with a loss of 15-2. The Tritons came off of a week and a half break for finals/spring break heading into this game...and it showed. UC San Diego was not physically or mentally ready for this sharp and tested Aggie squad. Davis was ready to run and committed to their game plan that hedged off of their fast paced high tempo transition offense. Davis headed into this game with two losses on their SoCal trip to the University of San Diego and the University of Montana. Despite the loss, we felt it was a good wakeup call to help us prepare for conference playoffs in a week.
UC San Diego Men’s Lacrosse will go again in their next game against Metro State University Denver, on Sunday March 31st, for a chance at redemption.
