After a disappointing loss on Saturday, the Tritons came out with a vengeance on Sunday against Grand Canyon University. Francisco Salinas fed Jon Clausen with an early cross to open the scoring. Christian Gunther and Aric Diesen combined for a banger that Christian claims “was the best goal of his life.” Francisco Salinas converted a penalty and Jonah Gooden added another all within the first half. The Tritons momentum died off in the second half, but they still added 2 goals to their lead. Aric Diesen added the 5^th off a lovely penetrating ball from Christian Gunther.
