Three members of the UCSD gymnastics team traveled north to Davis, California this weekend to compete in the UC Davis Winter Meet. UCSD competed across three different levels against teams from California and Oregon. Freshman Nyla Janmohamed and Junior Annika Sy had strong showings competing in the all around, both bringing new skills to the competition floor in the Xcel Silver and Xcel Platinum levels respectively. Nyla achieved third place on vault in her first ever gymnastics meet. Junior Tessa Gluckman performed brilliantly on floor, earning her second place on floor as a Level 8. The team had a lot of fun competing and has high hopes for the season.
