Adjusting to a unique race start, our mighty mighty Tritons mercilessly sprinted past unsuspecting competitors while snaking through the 400m swim portion of UC Davis' Aggieathlon. After a quick dash through T1, our members hopped on their bikes to speed down the straightaway between plentiful fields and orchards for an out-and-back bike sequence. Finally, upon racing through T2, our fierce triathletes navigated the strenuous run course. Cheering us on were fans, family, and friendly farm animals. Riding through iconic pastoral scenery amidst a glorious Davis sunrise and the scent of fertile California soil filling our senses and souls were highlights of this race! Broderick Topil ended the race in 20th with a time of 1:06:41, and Samuel Green ended in 45th with a time of 1:13:37. Great job to all of the racers in this event!
