With wins against Idaho State, Cal Miramar, Metro State (10-4), and UC Santa Barbara (5-1), the Tritons put up impressive numbers over the course of the week. UCSD put up 42 runs on the week, while only allowing 26. With a team batting average and ERA of .313 and 3.774 respectively, the Tritons were a force to be reckoned with. With eleven extra base hits in five games, the Tritons were dominating the opposing pitching in their games. The Tritons had six players hitting above .500 throughout the week, and the 2-1 strikeout to walk ratio by the pitching staff kept the Tritons on the offense more.
