The game against Cal State Northridge started off at a fast pace with CSUN scoring a try and conversion kick in the first minute of the game. UCSD responded with a try from Raven Mack in the following two minutes making the score UCSD 5 – CSUN 7. The first half of the game remained close. UCSD received a penalty try and CSUN scored another try to take the lead. 

The score was UCSD 17 – CSUN 21 going into the second half. CSUN pressured the triton defense and scored 3 successive trys. UCSD rallied offensively and Raven Wilbur scored a try. A successful conversion kick from Sam Killfoil made the score UCSD 24 – CSUN 42. CSUN scored twice more before the game ended and UCSD received another penalty try. The final score was UCSD 31 – CSUN 54.
