Tritons drop needed points in 3-2 loss to CSUN
UCSD had a subpar performance against CSUN. In the first 20 minutes, they found themselves down 2 goals right off the bat. In spite of this, UCSD continued to dominate possession of the ball, and were rewarded as Forward Paul Jasper scored one to put the Tritons back in the game. CSUN, however, would fire right back with a beautiful header to put the score at 3-1.
The Triton's only got more frantic in the second half, looking a bit shakier as time went on. Although scoring another goal to make the score 3-2, the Triton's weren't able to find the back of the net to at least salvage a tie. Disappointed, the Tritons now look to secure a spot in WCSA playoffs with a win vs SLO next weekend.
