The UCSD Tritons played their last game of the season this Sunday against ASU. The game started on a positive note as forward Bella Ralstin scored the first try 11 minutes into the first half. The Sundevils answered on the 30 minute mark but the Tritons took the lead once again by scoring a minute after. ASU was able to score one more try however as they scored once more before the end of the half to tie the score at 12-12.
The Triton’s defense kept the Sundevils scoreless for 30 minutes but ASU scored two trys in the 70th and 75th minute of the game. This put the game out of touch but UCSD played hard in the last game of the season as outside center Linh Cook ended the game by scoring a penalty try making the score UCSD 19 – ASU 24.
