UC San Diego Women’s Lacrosse team faced the UC Irvine Anteaters on Sunday. Although the team came out strong right off the bat, the Tritons unfortunately fell short to Irvine in a 10-8 loss. UC San Diego saw outstanding performances from Freshman Midfielder Shivani Das, with 4 goals on the offensive side, and from Sophomore Kylie Sagisi with 3 ground ball controls on the defensive end. Moving past the difficult loss, the Tritons are looking forward to Friday’s 7pm home game vs. crosstown rivals CSU San Marcos.
