This past weekend, February 5th and 6th, the Tritons headed to the Stanford Open. At the tournament, they faced tough competition, but still played to their strengths and had a great time while doing so. The rookies were the stars this weekend with Isabella Zaragoza and Amita Stowitts absolutely dominating every stat group that was tracked. Another person of mention was Sindhana Selvi Pannir Sivajothi because “she absolutely kills it every time she is on the field”. The Tritons started out the first day strongly, winning both games. However, they lost when faced against the two best attending teams. The entire second day consisted of the Tritons getting to a final tied score, known as "universe point", and then subsequently losing one of them, but still winning two.The most notable point of the weekend was the Tritons beat every B-team that they faced! Go Tritons!
