On October 29 two days before Halloween, UC San Diego’s Western Team cohosted a double header show with Mt Sac at Cal Poly Pomona’s stable and proved themselves capable of holding their own. The shows went excellently, all according to schedule.

UCSD began the morning with the first show, with Jenika Galvin finishing in fourth place and Elena Browne winning fifth place in Intermediate II. It was their first ever show in IHSA and they had a blast!

In the afternoon, Jenika rode again and received fifth place; Samantha Watts received first place in Intermediate II, as well.

Most notably, however, the team showed outstanding support for each other and the other teams’ members. They were eager to step up and help in any way possible, aiding the efficiency of the whole day.
