In homage to the prestigious San Dimas Stage Race, the Majestic Cycling Club hosted the first annual LaVerne Stage Race! Complete with both a criterium and a road race. This weekend was definitely one for the books. Freshmen Alessandro Cirulli and Luke Sheltraw crushed it with 2nd and 3rd place performances in the road race, and rounded their weekend off with a win for Cirulli in the criterium, and Sheltraw rounding out the podium in 3rd. In our women's field, Deryn LeDuke was on fire this weekend, pulling off back-to-back second place finishes in the crit and road race. These results would not have been possible if not for the help of all our other riders out there in the field. With two successful race weekends already under our belt this season, the team is looking to be competitive at Sea Otter and Nationals in the near future.
