On March 3rd, 2018, the Huntseat Regional Competition for Zone 8 Region 2 kicked off at the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park in San Juan Capistrano. Graciously hosted by Chapman University, the best of the region met for one last competition to see who would continue on to Zones at Stanford University. In the morning, Aleena Karamally competed in Intermediate Over Fences, where she laid down a great trip. In the afternoon, Karamally put in an excellent round in Intermediate Flat. She and one other rider were called back to switch horses for a work-off, and Karamally’s great riding put her in the lead for a decisive win in Intermediate Flat. We are so proud of her, and we can’t wait to cheer her on all the way to Zones!
