On Sunday, November 13^th the UC San Diego field hockey team took on the Gauchos in Santa Barbara for the final conference game of their season. Starting off strong, the teams took turns gaining possession and progressing up the field. Arshdeep Singh had great possession in the back, preventing many break aways throughout the game. Rachel Flanagan stepped up as a substitute goalie for the game, staying tough and incredibly focused, blocking numerous shots on goal! Zoe Montoya controlled the midfield and helped transfer across the field and Vinnu and Vikas excelled in their defense and control. Although the Tritons lost 0-1 after an unlucky call on a stroke fro UCSB, the team will still move on to playoffs the weekend of December 3^rd!
