English Equestrian Travels to Gilbert, Arizona

This past weekend, UC San Diego’s English Equestrian team traveled to Gilbert, Arizona to compete in a show hosted by Arizona State University. Despite the travel tiring the team out, all of our girls showed exceptionally and made UC San Diego proud. On Saturday, Captain Anna Young placed 4^th in Intermediate Fences, Captain Aleena Karamally placed 6^th in Intermediate Flat, Arianna Gorman placed 5^th in Advanced Walk Trot Canter, Bahar Salehi placed 6^th in Advanced Walk Trot Canter, Madeline Haff placed 6^th in Beginning Walk Trot Canter, and Alyssa Franklin placed 4^th in her Walk Trot division. On Sunday, Becca Huntly-Playle placed 2^nd in Open Fences, Young placed 5^th in Intermediate Flat, Karamally placed 6^th in Intermediate Flat, Gorman placed 4^th in Advanced Walk Trot Canter, Haff placed 1^st in Beginning Walk Trot Canter, and V Tarini Naidu placed 6^th in Walk Trot. A special shout out to Anna Young for pointing out in her Intermediate Flat class and moving up to Open Flat! Congratulations to all of our girls, and good luck on your next show!
