Mammoth Mt. was Lit

 

UC San Diego truly set the bar high in the first race of the season at Mammoth Mt. over Winter Break! Long time racer and mountain-lover Joseph Breuer killed the competition with 1^st in Giant Slalom (GS) and Simone Klein, the team’s favorite med student, flew in with 2^nd in GS, 3^rd in Slalom and 4^th in park – Holla! “Phenomenal form all the time, these two.” mentioned Team Captain Hakan Erol. The other captain KT Owens showed the rest how it’s done on a board with 2^nd in park and 5^th in GS in her first competition ever. The guys boarding know what’s up with keeping the pressure on the other schools and proved it when serial team member Nareg Ghazikhanian tore it up with 5^th in GS and 8^th in park, along with Jeff Lampert who slid in there with 6^th in GS, and President Sparkles Hakan with 7^th in GS. The team is lit to have had such a kickass race and expect more great times and even better snow with this “Century El Nino”.
