The Tritons travelled to Santa Barbara to take on the Gauchos' enormous 20-man roster. They battled with their much shorter bench, but the Gauchos were able to maintain a 2 goal lead throughout most of the game. Goaltender Nolan Karma faced his twin brother, who was the goaltender for UCSB. Nolan would end up losing the battle though, as the Gauchos sealed the game with an empty net goal. The Gauchos' fans were a bit drunk and unruly, but it was a great game.

Final: UCSB wins 5-2
